Classes will take place over 6 days, Monday - Saturday for 3 hours per day on the class start date chosen at registration.
Build on your Legacy by crafting your own 1911. Under the guidance of our Gunsmiths, you will learn the function and design of your pistol, with a focus on safety and precision, and instruction on processes such as:
- Slide to Frame Fit
- Barrel Fit
- Extractor Modification/Fit
- Hammer and Sear Engagement

- Public Class (5 total seats open to the public):
- 1911 Single Stack Build Kits:
- .45ACP Government: $625
- 9MM Government: $725
- Double Stack 1911 Build Kits:
- .45 ACP Government: $1345
- 9MM Government: $1225
- Private Class (Up to 5 Seats)
- Instruction 1st person: $650
- Each additional person up to 4 additional: $495 each
In order to ensure build kits are available for the class on time, we will need to have payment for instruction and the build kit at least 14 days prior to the class date. Once you register we will send you a link for payment or you can pay in store at 170 S. State St. Orem Utah.
You must be able to legally own and purchase a handgun in Utah and be able to pass a background check before you may take the class. No refunds will be given if you are unable to pass a background check.
